The writing and production of the Inseparable music video clearly represents one of those seasons where God was moving very specifically in our lives. From dropping the idea in our hearts, to bringing in the provision within days thereafter, to enabling us to write the story and pull everything together for the shoot within eight weeks - it was a wild ride.
Of course, we had the normal troubles - needed three days to shoot, went for two, and, due to bad weather, ended up shooting it in a day and a half. That pushed hard on the post production since it required a lot more editing and color correcting. But, all very enjoyable, regardless. And, after all that, it still turned out really decent for it being our first effort.
We shot it on an 1,100 acre farm near D.C. What an amazing location - feels like you're out in the country, and you're only 35 minutes from the U.S. Capitol. We'll be writing more about the process, and posting a bunch of stills from the shoot in the near future.
Inseparable: Written for the purpose of inspiring hope and vision in marriage relationships, the story follows an urban couple with a struggling marriage into an unlikely setting where they encounter a heart-warming example of what genuine love, family and community can do for a marriage relationship.
